Justin Jones

Apart from pursuing the goal of Crossing the Ditch, Justin Jones, 24, is currently studying for his Masters of Commerce at the University of New South Wales and is currently part time working for J M Ryans Hotels.

He originally completed an advanced science degree with Honours in Physiology also at UNSW at the beginning of 2005 and prior to this completed his schooling at Knox Grammar School finishing in 2000. He is a fun loving and enthusiastic character, the most important things for Justin are his friends and family, the odd challenge and the outdoors…he firmly believes that life is a journey that although may be random and challenging should always be fun.

Over the latter part of his life Justin has developed a true appreciation for the outdoors and has undertaken a number of adventures. Together with James, he has completed a number of accomplishments. Current Employment

Justin is currently working for J M Ryans Hotels and is pursuing further study.
In the past Justin has worked as a laboratory demonstrator and a laboratory assistant in Exercise labs in the Health and Sports Science department at the University of NSW.

Justin's most prolific personal asset in the pursuit of wilderness challenges is his dogmatic persistence and ability to remain calm. On numerous occasions Justin has continued climbing on through impregnable scrub and kayaking in the most inhospitable conditions long after those that are more physically fit than him have crumbled. This is the most valuable asset that Justin brings to the Crossing the Ditch expedition.
